In our acrylic-on-canvas paintings, we explore interpersonal relationships and the emotions that shape them. Through the deliberate stylization of forms and colors, we move away from realistic representation to create space for personal interpretation. For us, color is an expression of mood and memory rather than merely a depiction of reality. We consciously alter colors and forms, just as we do faces and postures. Our figures inhabit the space between closeness and distance, a sense of security and vulnerability. We aim to make visible those moments that often remain unspoken, inviting viewers to discover their own feelings and experiences within the images. We often use pastel and muted tones to create a sense of lightness.
Biography
We are twins and have loved painting since we were young. Alongside our careers in healthcare, we have fulfilled a dream and have been painting together in a studio for some time now. We haven’t participated in any exhibitions yet, but we would be delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit at Haam.
