BAAM#9 – A Creative Explosion for All the Senses

The Berlin Artists Art Market – BAAM is back – loud, colorful, and with a clear message: art can be different! Not your typical fair or market BAAM is a movement, and there’s nothing quite like it in Berlin. From May 22 to 25, 2025, Monopol Berlin became a vibrant hub for art, connection, and community – with live acts, light shows, bands, and hands-on art experiences.
Impressive Numbers, Enthusiastic Crowd
With around 6,000 visitors, 900 artworks sold, and 293 participating artists, BAAM#9 exceeded all expectations. The crowd was as diverse as the program itself: urban creatives met families, 320 kids, 36 dogs, art connoisseurs crossed paths with the simply curious from Hermès handbags to canvas totes. One visitor joked:
“I just wanted to have a quick look – now I’m boarding the subway with a 1.00 x 1.40 piece!”
At the Heart: Art You Can Experience
Artworks made from unconventional materials such as fabric, ceramics, glass, wool, and plastic made a strong visual impact this year. Expressive, bold, colorful, loud or subtle – the art on display was, above all, full of life. Art to touch, feel, and experience!

More Than a Market – A Festival of Art
With a vibrant mix of live performances, dance, and music, BAAM#9 turned into a festival where art could be felt live, direct, emotional. “I’m leaving here with a pounding heart,” said one buyer while posing with her new piece. Even the Pisco Sours, oysters, and locally sourced Berlin natural wine sold out completely – BAAM#9 was soaked up with all the senses!
BAAM#9 proved that art brings people together.
As one visitor couple put it: “Art simply connects people!”
