In my textile works, constructivist forms meet the warmth of textiles. I combine graphic clarity with tactile sensuality. My collages fragment existing motifs, reassemble them and create a new order within each image. Collages often serve as a starting point. Here I experiment with composition, form and colour palette, which are then translated into a textile object. Through the technique of tufting, I discovered a way to transfer two-dimensional works created on paper into three-dimensional objects in space. Someting flat and even becomes something with a sense of form and warmth. As the wool is trimmed, the work takes shape, contoures and depth emerges.
My artistic drive goes hand in hand with the desire to continually discover new perspectives through diverse forms of expression – an approach that can be applied to everyday life and inspires to see the ordinary with fresh eyes.

1994 born in Hamburg / 2016 semester abroard at the Art Academy of Latvia, Department of Graphic Art / 2014 – 2020 studied at the Hochschule Wismar, Communication Design and Media, Diploma / since 2023 foundign member of the artist group »Inserat 8000«
