I draw on crumpled sheets of paper using a dip pen, ballpoint pen, and sometimes needle and thread. The paper is not simply a surface to draw on; it is an essential part of the work itself. Its folds determine the direction of each line, creating boundaries while opening unexpected paths. They influence every decision made throughout the process.
My drawings are abstract. What began as a form of protest has gradually evolved into a way of thinking and reflecting. I follow the folds, respond to chance, and make decisions along the way. Moving forward, changing direction, stumbling, pausing, and continuing all become part of the drawing. There is no way back—every mark remains visible and becomes part of the final work.
The resulting drawings reveal a living process rather than a fixed image. They speak of searching and finding, of uncertainty, transformation, and the traces left behind by every choice. Reduced to black and white, they become fragments of life, expressed through line, structure, and movement, while leaving space for viewers to discover their own associations and interpretations.
