Vivia Wisperwind

Living in a fast-paced big city, I find myself drawn to the stillness and clarity of water.
Over the past four years, water has become the central focus of my work – evolving from powerful waves to quiet surfaces and now to women immersed in water. Working with acrylics in a photorealistic style, I create detailed, contemporary paintings that invite the viewer into a calm, immersive space.
My work explores the tension between what we show and what we feel, looking beneath the surface to the quieter emotional layers that shape us. Themes of introspection, vulnerability and release run through my paintings, alongside a sense of inner peace and freedom.
I work from my own photographic references and avoid using black, instead mixing colors from primary colors and white to create depth and luminosity.
