My work explores the intersection of astronomy, memory through paper-based collages. I use vintage astronomical charts, mathematical tables, and printed scores, cutting and weaving them into new constellations of lines, rhythms, and textures. Paper becomes a bearer of memory — fragile and resistant — carrying traces of knowledge, systems of orientation, and human attempts to make sense of the universe.
These works reflect on lineage and interconnection. Just as families pass on traditions, values, and memories, the sky has long linked generations through rituals and stories. The woven structures evoke invisible lines of transmission, the color red runs through them like bloodlines — a reminder of both continuity and rupture, of bonds carried in the body as well as in memory.
