For several years, drawing has been a daily practice for me. My work is inspired by observations from everyday life, personal memories, and above all, maritime landscapes and motifs. My grandfather was a sailor, and I have always felt a deep connection to the North and the sea.
My current focus is a series called The Singing Lighthouses. In these works, I explore ordinary objects through imagination and storytelling. The series is inspired by the mysteries of the sea: with every storm, the waves carry new stories to the lonely lighthouses, which quietly sing and whistle them into the wind. It is a language that remains forever beyond human understanding.
Through my art, I aim to balance careful observation with imagination. Whether I am drawing flowers and trees, studying their forms and details, or bringing everyday objects to life through fantasy, I am always searching for the stories hidden beneath the surface and creating worlds of my own.
Biography
I’m 25 years old and completed my training as an illustrator here in Hamburg. Since then, I’ve been working on artistic projects and participating in exhibitions in and around Hamburg. I had the opportunity to exhibit my work for the first time last year at HAAM #3, and I would love to do it again. Most recently, I exhibited my work at the Port Art Festival, which took place as part of the Harburg Port Festival.
