Tobias Molitor is a multidisciplinary artist and conceptual screen printer based in Berlin. His works explore everyday products and fast-moving consumer goods and he examines the role of the human being in the consumption cycle. His practice resembles a research approach by documenting objects he has used himself or that have been left behind by strangers in various locations.
His oeuvre consists of ordinary everyday objects with graphic elements that reflect on the cultural context and Zeitgeist. The application of different techniques emphasizes the repetitive and industrial nature of these objects. His works address themes such as cultural identity; mass production and consumption; souvenirs and collecting.
