I believe that even the smallest canvas can hold extraordinary art.
For me, every fingernail is a tiny canvas with endless possibilities. Whether expressed through delicate hand-painted details or sculptural 3D elements, even such a small surface can hold limitless creativity and artistic expression. Within this tiny space, I create unique, handcrafted artworks that go beyond beauty and become a form of personal expression.
What I love most about press-on nails is that the artwork can live on. Unlike traditional salon nails, which are temporary and eventually disappear, my pieces can be removed, preserved and worn again. They become collectible wearable artworks instead of something that has to be destroyed.
I also believe that fashion is a form of art. Just as we choose different clothes for different moods and occasions, I want people to express themselves through the artwork they wear on their hands.
Through my work, I hope to show that art doesn’t only belong in galleries. It can be part of everyday life, carried with us wherever we go. I don’t see nails as beauty products—I see them as tiny canvases where art can be worn every day.
Biography
I grew up in Stuttgart after moving to Germany from China and later studied Communication Design with a focus on Interaction Design. After graduating, I moved to Hamburg, where I now live and work.
Creating nail art has been my passion for over four years. It started as a personal creative hobby and gradually became an important part of my life. Since April 2026, I have been sharing my work with the public for the first time through pop-up markets and design events across Hamburg. Besides creating my own artistic collections, I also design custom pieces for clients, turning their personal ideas into wearable artworks.
For me, Sweet Chili is more than a brand. It is a way to bring art into everyday life and to connect people through creativity, craftsmanship and self-expression.
