My paintings explore the space between memory and emotion. I am interested in the moments that cannot be fully recalled but continue to exist as feelings, fragments and impressions. Rather than depicting specific places or events, I create open visual landscapes that invite personal interpretation.
Through layers of acrylic, blurred forms and subtle shifts in colour, I build surfaces that reveal and conceal at the same time. The absence of clear narratives leaves room for the viewer’s own memories, emotions and associations to become part of the work. In this way, every painting changes depending on who is standing in front of it.
I see painting as a quiet conversation rather than a statement. It is a process of slowing down, observing and allowing emotions to exist without the need to explain them. My work explores how the body stores experiences, how memories transform over time and how abstraction can communicate what often remains beyond language.
