Simon Salzig was born and raised in Cologne and now lives in Berlin. He discovered his passion for drawing and painting at an early age, a passion that gradually evolved into an
independent artistic practice. After studying photography, he found in painting an immediate and intuitive means of expression. One that allows him to merge emotion, observation, and spatial perception. Berlin’s urban environment shapes his
artistic identity just as strongly as his sensitivity to structure, contrast, and atmosphere.
