Satoshi HOSHI is a Berlin-based Japanese artist who explores the cycles of life and the fluidity of time through a careful fusion of natural beauty and abstract expression. Satoshi HOSHI(b.1977,Kanagawa in Japan) is a Berlin-based painter working with bold compositions and delicate brushstrokes in vivid colors.Drawing inspiration from dried flowers and everyday landscapes, his works transform personal memories into painted mental landscapes -affirming that the world is still beautiful. A graduate of Tokyo University of Arts(2003), he has exhibited internationally in Japan and Germany. He received 1st Prize at Kunstpreis der Stadt Weilburg(2019) and 2nd Prize at the International Malerei Biennale Hamburg(2022).
