My work stems from the efforts in abstraction and materiality from early 20th C., movements such as COBRA, the research of Jean Dubufet and the graphics learned from Punk culture, collage, cut and paste et al.
I intend to let the image find itself via layering, avoiding its precognition in order to find, what I would consider, its true state. If at first glance the graphic work seems disconnected, it can be observed that in both prevails an urge to obtain figuration and composition which is unknown until completion.
