Mujer Gallina is an artist working in drawing and book creation, and is also involved in graphic activism and urban interventions. Her practice includes screen printing posters, books, and paintings. She has exhibited her work collectively and individually in Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Nami (Korea), Santiago de Chile, Portugal, and Mexico City. She has received awards in Bologna, Nami (Korea), the Jungenbibliothek, Illustration NY, Ilustrarte Lisbon, and Chile. Mujer Gallina also writes books, having published over seven titles translated into several languages, three of which have received awards.
