My work develops between craftsmanship and the visual arts, as I work from design and conceptualization through to the manufacturing of the pieces I create, combining these processes in works related to scenography, costume design, and artistic installations.
The ideas I explore in my practice take shape depending on each project, but they usually revolve around the representation of a concept that leads to a narrative. The themes are connected to things I observe in everyday life and reflect ideas or thoughts that surround us.
Over the years, my practice has evolved from graphic work such as collage toward a more scenic and sculptural approach, leading me to develop part of my work within performative contexts. I understand scenography and costume as sculptural elements and, at the same time, as graphic planes. My training at the Faculty of Fine Arts and at the Institut del Teatre has contributed to the consolidation of these two concepts.
