BAAM

Bit Butts is a series of 16 digital 3D artworks by Alexander Makedonskiy aka MAKY – a playful exploration of bold curves, long braids and vibrant color. Each motif is limited to 20 prints across all sizes, produced as reverse UV prints behind acrylic glass on Alu-Dibond, signed and numbered.

However, I think art doesn’t need explanation. But since this form asks for at least 100 words, here are some more:

Cinema 4D, bits, bytes, curves, braids, glossy, sun, bold, playful, skin, fantasy, digital, bronze, surreal, color, symmetry, warmth, clean, feminine, diversity, beauty, desire, freedom, velvet, horizon, water, dream, pixel, energy, dessert, red, blue, yellow, funny, birthmark, thong, hairband, vacation, rope, seagulls, illusion, hypnosis, addiction, mummy, Alu-Dibond, acrylic glass, MAKY, illustration, turquoise, beach, summer, thick, big, 3D, perspective, pop, body, heat, circles, hot, 16, seduction, ice cream, purple, beige, green, bootyful, neon, brown, tropical, juicy, pool, bikini, Hamburg, saturated, cute, loud, swimwear, golden, spiral, sensual, reflection, wavy, BitButts, shiny, peach.

And if none of these words fully explain the series – good.

Biography

No biography can save weak art. No university can teach you how to give a dead image a soul. No explanation can make people feel something they don’t feel. The artwork either speaks to you or it stays silent. That’s it.

So I’m not hiding behind a perfect CV. I come from music production, advertising and filmmaking. Now I’m here to try and make some noise again – for the first time in a totally different medium.

MAKY.
