Livia Ködderitzsch

Livia is a Berlin-based oil painter and current resident at Burnt Sienna Art School. Her work moves between realistic portraiture with surreal interruptions and feminist figurative painting focused on the female body. She is interested in images that invite a second look, whether through subtle distortion or through themes of objectification and bodily presence. These two strands of her practice began during her first pregnancy, with feminist themes currently intensifying during her second.
