My abstract work is inspired by the beauty of natural materials and a minimalist visual language that is both bold and quietly expressive. Each piece invites the viewer to pause, creating space for stillness, emotion, and reflection.
The response I hear most often is that people didn’t know they were searching for something like my work until they encountered it. They describe the paintings as bringing a sense of calm, warmth, and depth into their homes. Knowing that my art can evoke these feelings is something I never take for granted.
For me, there is no greater privilege as an artist than seeing a painting become part of someone’s everyday life, a piece they choose to live with, return to, and connect with over time. I hope my work offers not only a visual experience but also a lasting sense of peace, presence, and quiet beauty.
Biography
I’m Kim, a 29-year-old abstract artist based in Hamburg, Germany. I have a deep love for art, culture, nature, and my faith. My artistic practice has evolved alongside me over the years, but creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
