I am a fine art photographer with a focus on atmospheric black-and-white imagery that explores themes of memory, identity, matter, and the subconscious. My work is characterized by blurred human figures, deep blacks, strong contrast, larger-than-life prints and pronounced film grain, creating images that exist somewhere between documentary and dream.
Rather than portraying individuals, I aim to evoke emotional states and invite viewers to project their own experiences, memories, and associations onto the work.
I am interested in the fragile space between what is visible and what is remembered. By reducing visual certainty, I encourage a slower, more contemplative and also deeper way of looking.
Biography
My background is rooted in visual storytelling. Having studied film & photography, I developed a strong understanding of composition, light, atmosphere, and the emotional language of images. Photography has been a constant throughout my life and has always been my most intuitive way of observing and interpreting the world.
