My work explores patterns, forms, and lines through the interplay of geometric structure and intuitive painting. Each piece begins with a grid of layered black and white tissue paper, creating a textured foundation that I gradually develop using acrylic paint, chalk, markers, acrylic pens, and other drawing materials.
I am interested in the balance between control and chance. I paint, cover, erase, and reveal, allowing earlier layers to remain visible and become part of the final composition. The process itself is essential to my work—each layer reflects experimentation, courage, and a willingness to let go. A restrained color palette is occasionally interrupted by vibrant accents, creating tension and rhythm while the underlying geometry continues to hold everything together.
