My name is Fernanda Porto, I am a Brazilian visual artist based in Berlin. My work is a constant search for the essence of my own visual language.

In the current series Waves, I develop a technique not yet explored in contemporary art. I primarily work with bioresins and non-toxic polymers, associated with thermocurated inks, exploring their limits through material study. This reflects a broader inquiry into the evolution of plastic and the potential to create less harmful, more environmentally respectful materials.
In this Waves series, I create forms that break free from molds and rigid structures, allowing the materials to support themselves and reveal their own stability and character.

My practice is rooted in manual work, the most direct and authentic way of creating, resisting digital production and depersonalization. Each piece captures its own energy and personality, embodying the ongoing search for essence—both in form and concept.
