BAAM

My work explores identity, memory, and cultural dynamics in Chile and Latin America. Trained as a painter at the University of Chile and HGB Leipzig, I develop a critical practice focused on representation and the construction of personal and collective narratives, analyzing the power structures that shape them. Since 2014, my research has addressed cultural dependency, the precarious, the documentary, and the archaeological through painting and family photographic archives. My projects investigate how images and discourses shape historical and social perspectives, highlighting the tension between the personal and the collective within local and global contexts.
