The starting point for my work is the experience of informational pressure that disrupts perception and makes it difficult to hold things together. Beginning with attempts to freeze this flow, I try to concentrate attention. I isolate visual fragments in different shapes. In my practice, I use screenshots, circular images, and binocular views. These formats concentrate attention on a single point and resist scanning and scrolling. The circular and oval shape limits the field of vision and slows down looking.
The main media I work with are digital photography and screenshots. I like to use low-resolution files and low-quality images, vernacular imagery, exploring new forms of visual representation.
