My work is an exploration of emotion translated directly onto canvas. I am drawn to strong, bold contrasts, both visually and emotionally, and much of what I paint sits in that tension between opposing forces: light and dark, calm and intensity, control and release. Rather than depicting a specific subject, I aim to capture a feeling or an internal state, letting color and texture speak.
My style is abstract. I work almost exclusively with acrylics, using a palette knife to build up thick, textured layers. I do not plan a piece before I begin; I let the process guide the outcome, responding to the canvas as it develops. This intuitive approach means each painting carries its own rhythm, and the texture itself becomes part of the story.
For me, painting is a form of healing. I was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease that left me almost unable to paint. Art is how I process the internal world, and how I return to a sense of balance. I hope the people who bring my work into their homes feel that same quiet intensity, a piece that holds real emotion rather than simply decorating a wall.
