The event will take place from Friday, 27. until Sunday, 29. November 2026, at Kühlhaus in Kreuzberg. Please submit your proposals, including pictures and personal data, by filling out the following application form.

This Open Call is for both BAAM#12 in Berlin and our brand new online platform The Artists Art Market.

Around 250 artists will be selected to participate in the physical market in Berlin,  who are also automatically invited to join the online market. Additionally, approximately 200 artists will be selected to present their works exclusively online. So even if you are not selected for the physical event, your application can still lead to a place on The Artists Art Market.

Deadline: Friday, 2. October at 8 pm. Results will be published on Friday,  30. October. All kinds of artworks are accepted, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, photographs, installations, mixed media, etc.

  • Price Range: Your artworks can be priced between €50 and € 10,000, including your taxes and the 35% commission of BAAM. Remember, keep it affordable!

  • Artwork Limits: Submit your proposals up to 10 small-format, unframed pieces (max. A2) for table display, and max. 15 artworks for wall hanging (no size limit). As the space is limited, the curators will decide how many works from your proposal are going to be displayed.

  • Application fee of 10€ (free for students). This small commission will help us to review the large number of proposals. Thank you for your understanding and support!
  • Artists origin: BAAM focuses on supporting artists from Berlin; however, we allow participation up to 20% of artists from other cities and countries to promote cultural exchange between our artists and supporters.

For Accepted Artists for the BAAM event in Berlin:

  • Registration Fee: Accepted artists pay a registration fee of 40€ (20€ for students) and sign a contract before the market.

  • Commission Split: You’ll receive 65% of the net sale price -tax included-, while BAAM keeps 35% to cover the whole production of the event.

  • Tax Requirements: Make sure you have a tax number to issue invoices in Germany. If you are registered to pay taxes in another country, we need your Certificate of fiscal residency.
