This ongoing series explores the psychological experience of
fragmentation and the elusive nature of a unified self.
Each composition assembles disjointed elements, serving as a
metaphor for the complex and often conflicting forces that shape
Identity.
At first glance, the forms suggest continuity. But on closer inspection,
their dissonance emerges, revealing a disorienting visual experience
steeped in melancholy and introspection.
Collage is used conceptually, to reinforce the sense of a layered self,
constructed and unstable.
The images embrace the beauty and complexity of multiplicity.
To be whole is not to be seamless, but to contain within us the many
selves we have been and the ones we are still becoming.
