I’m driven by finding beauty in the ugly.
In the huge and depressing concrete masses of Berlin I’m constantly seeking for unusual angles in order to capture geometries, bid divisions, and shadow plays with my camera. I enhance and add colors in the digital studio to transform what was previously ugly into a new, beautiful form.
Reactivating my graffiti roots, I also paint large abstract architectural works of art on canvas and wood using spray techniques.
All my artistic expressions are linked by the search for beauty in what is supposedly ugly at first glance.
In my architectural images, I’m less concerned with the realistic representation of buildings than with the transformation from seeing to feeling.
Where the eye discovers oppressive concrete jungles, I give the heart the opportunity to perceive warmth, happiness and freedom in the form of shapes and colors.
