„Where does the sky truly begin? At the point where the blue meets the treetops, or where the air touches a lone stone?

In my work, there is always an above and below, a before and beyond. Distance often outweighs closeness. I remain open to possibilities, yet aware of boundaries. I observe from a safe remove, and from this perspective opinions emerge. One stays protected by that distance, believing not to be seen. This stance of careful observation forms the starting point of my practice.
I work with wood as a painting surface, exploring its potential and limits. I focus on multiplex and colored MDF. Milling into the finished pieces is central to my process. Drill grinders, routers, and CNC machines leave deliberate traces, shaping rhythm and structure in each work.
