In my work, I am particularly drawn to the tension between transience and new beginnings in nature. I find special inspiration in forest dieback landscapes in the Harz region—places where destruction and new life coexist in fascinating contrast. I aim to make this dynamic palpable in my work. My drawing practice is process-based and intuitive. The act of creation is a central aspect of my work. Lines, structures, and forms develop organically, responding to both internal and external influences.
