Florian Breetzke (*1974) is a German artist who explores the expressive possibilities of painting in
his work. His series explore various painterly approaches
and themes, taking up cultural and contemporary historical references. With a playful mix of the
high and low of cultural history, as well as humorous and absurd elements,
he challenges conventional perspectives.
Florian Breetzke studied at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the UBC
School of Art in British Columbia, Canada. He lives and works in Berlin.
